Hi, I'm Leon Schropp

I am pursuing my Master's degree in Mathematics at LMU Munich, where I am writing my thesis under the supervision of Markus Land.

My main research interests lie in algebraic topology and algebraic geometry, with a particular focus on étale and \( \mathbb{A}^1 \) homotopy theory and algebraic K-theory. More recently, I have been familiarizing myself with the foundations of higher algebra, topos theory and derived algebraic geometry. Additionally, I also enjoy studying more classical topics, such as classifications and moduli spaces.

On the side, I work as a software engineer at MTU Aero Engines and am involved in the transition town initiative Trudering im Wandel.
